AUGUSTA — Joy Alisa Ackerman, 36, of Randolph died unexpectedly Oct. 12, at Maine General Hospital.
She was born in Farmington on Dec. 25, 1973, the daughter of Joseph and Joan (Bushie) Clark. She was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School and later graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta. She loved spending time with her children, family outings, being with her friends, and was also an animal lover. She was always there to help people and animals especially in their time of need.
She is survivied by her mother, Joan Bailey, of Livermore Falls; her sons, Daniel and Dillon of Readfield; her companion, Jame Hawkins, of Randolph; her sister, Angela Pomerleau, of Leeds; her niece, Christina Damren, of Livermore Falls; and nephew, Charles Damren, of Leeds; and she will be missed by many extended family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her father and brother, James Bushie.
