BOURNE, Mass. — Sandra D. (Cote) Dalton Ahlquist, 72, of Bourne, Mass., died Oct. 12, at the Bourne Manor Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Desire and Eva L. (Loiselle) Cote.

She was born in Lewiston and lived in Attleboro, Mass., before moving to Bourne. Mrs. Ahlquist served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1958. She graduated from Lewiston High School and Johnson and Wales University.

Mrs. Ahlquist worked as certified nursing assistant for Preferred Health and as private duty nurse. She was a member of the Women of Moose Chapter No. 974 in Attleboro and was a senior regent.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy D. Dalton and his wife, Rhonda L., of Wareham, Mass., and Peter J. Dalton of Foxboro, Mass.; a daughter, Keisha A.A. Foster of Rehoboth, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her daughters, Debra L. Dalton and Valerie L. Dalton; and a brother, David Cote.
