The mailers we are receiving from the Democratic Party are depicting Deb Simpson as an independent voice. In our opinion, that is wrong. Simpson votes the party line. She represents the 30 years of old-party Democratic control.

Not Lois Snowe-Mello.

Simpson has served 10 years in the Legislature. If you like Speaker Nancy Pelosi, then you will love Simpson.

But if people want to purchase affordable health insurance across state lines, they should vote for Snowe-Mello, who co-sponsored that bill while in office. She also did not support tax increases when she was state senator.

We are tired of high taxes, no jobs and a poor economy. We will vote for common-sense-solutions candidate Lois Snowe-Mello for state Senate District 15, Auburn, Durham, New Gloucester and Poland.
