After eight years of showboating and chicanery in House District 90, residents need relief.

Irv Faunce is that breath of fresh air.

He is clearly the most thoughtful, issue-oriented candidate, willing to tell people what he thinks and what he’ll do. He’s capable, through a lifetime of managing, negotiating and mediating, of assuming an honest, leading role in the House.

He will do Western Maine proud.

Meanwhile, his opponent takes the grand tour hosted by his mentor. Our present representative shows him the ropes and introduces the deal-makers and other hangers-on.

No thanks. I’ll take Irv Faunce.
