FARMINGTON — Quaddy is an amazing little boy, said staff at the Franklin County Animal Shelter. He is 8- to 10-months-old and has a very sweet demeanor.
When Quaddy came to the shelter he was very timid, they said. He still has his timid moments but more often than not he is a carefree boy. Quaddy is good with kids, cats and other dogs. He is learning his basic commands of sit and lay down.
They said he has a gentle attitude towards everyone and loves to love.
New dogs at the shelter include a pit mix found in Farmington, a pomeranian mix found in Wilton, a lab mix found in Jay and a beagle puppy.
The shelter has also announced that a Haunted Barn fundraiser will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22 and 23, at Knowlton Corner Farm, 341 Knowlton Corner Road.
Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 4 to 10 and free for children ages 3 and under. All proceeds will benefit the Franklin County Animal Shelter. For more information, call 778-6520.
