LEWISTON — Blanche Lepage, 89, of 100 Campus Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 17, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born in St. George, P.Q.,Canada, Nov. 2, 1920, the daughter of Toussaint and Blanche (Belanger) Gilbert.
She worked for many years in the kitchen at St. Mary’s Hospital.
She married Henry Lepage in July 1972, and he died on Feb. 2.
She is survived by her son, Yvan Mathieu and wife, Diane, of South Carolina; her daughter, Annie Hemingway and husband, Don, of Nevada; her grandchildren, James Mathieu of South Carolina, Erin Mathieu of Tennessee, and Ricky Vallee of Florida; great-grandchildren, Margaret Perkins and Zachary Vallee; her sister, Claire Poulin of Montreal, P.Q., Canada; and a daughter-in-law, Catherine Mathieu of Connecticut.
She was predeceased by two sons, Claude and Gilbert Mathieu.
