Boxberry Elementary School students make beaver faces at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray. From left are Oliver Barrett, Myles Barrett, Simon Whitaker and Emmett Grover. The students recently participated in a demonstration on beaver habitats at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray. The park ranger informed the students about where Maine beavers make their homes, how long they live and their diet. Students were allowed to touch beaver, mink and muskrat pelts and looked closely at the taxidermied animals as part of the demonstration. After the demonstration and a picnic lunch, they toured the rest of the park.
