FARMINGTON —  Republican Clyde Barker of Strong had a slight edge over Democrat Richard Stovall in a 35-30  vote late Tuesday for the Franklin County Commission, District 3 seat.

Sandy River Plantation was the only town reporting in results for the seat that also serves Avon, Carrabassett Valley, Coplin, Dallas, Eustis, Industry, Kingfield, Madrid, New Vineyard, Perkins, Phillips, Rangeley, Sandy River, Strong, Temple and Weld.
