Wendy Ruby, a parent volunteer at Oxford Hills Christian Academy, displays a few of the items available for auction at the school’s third annual Harvest Banquet and Auction, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Four Seasons Banquet Center on Main Street in South Paris. More than 100 businesses have contributed items or gift certificates for the auction. Doors open for a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres at 5 p.m., followed by a banquet, cooked and served by students from the culinary arts program at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, with live entertainment by local musician Joe Cormier. The evening will end with a live auction, featuring auctioneer Jerry Major. Tickets for the event may be purchased through the school office. For more information, call 743-5970.
