John Nutting is a poor loser. He attempts to ridicule winning Senate candidate Garrett Mason for still living at home with his parents (Nov. 3), yet he thinks it is fine to loot taxpayers’ paychecks to support young people on MaineCare, Section 8, WIC, LIHEAP, TANF, SNAP and this list goes on.

I say thank you to Mason’s family for being supportive of one another. Maine can get back on the correct path if people provide for their own families first, rather than forcing others to do it for them through excessive taxation.

Mason can show Nutting how to successfully budget this state’s limited finances, and maybe more young people will need to live with their parents, rather than asking the rest of us to pay their way.
