This is in response to the story “Blue angel to the rescue,” published Nov. 4.

I commend Lewiston Officer Jeff Baril for his actions. Not only did he go above and beyond the call of duty, he showed kindness and integrity.

It is my opinion, he is a good man and decent human being. Not only do I feel he is a credit to his department, but a credit to his profession as a whole.
