Between 7 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, and 7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, Lewiston police responded to 674 calls for service. Of those calls, 141 were motor vehicle stops.

Burglaries
Child’s Linen Service at 10 Lafayette St. was burglarized prior to 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 2; a window was broken to gain entry.
A dorm room at 145 Wood St. was burglarized overnight Oct. 30 – Oct. 31. A mattress was taken.
An apartment at 37 Tall Pines Dr. was burglarized prior to 3 a.m. on Oct. 31, An Xbox and an iPod were taken.
An apartment at 139 Oak St. was burglarized prior to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, money and medication were taken.
An apartment at 44 Birch St. was burglarized prior to 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 3; entry was gained through a window.
An apartment at 64 Oxford St. was burglarized prior to 4 p.m. on Nov. 4; property was taken.
Motor vehicle burglaries
A vehicle parked at 3 Cottage St. was burglarized on Oct. 31; property was taken.
A vehicle parked at the corner Main and Elm streets was burglarized sometime between 3 p.m. on Oct. 28 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 29. Prescription medications were taken.
A vehicle parked at 365 Main St. was burglarized prior to 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 1; a radio and wallet were taken.
Leonard Tyler, 40, was charged with motor vehicle burglary and theft at 4:22 a.m. on Oct. 31 after a Central Maine Medical Center Security official noticed a suspect checking car doors. Officers arrived and found him exiting a vehicle.
Operating after suspension
Iman Osman, 21, was charged with operating while license suspended at 2:35 a.m. on Oct. 30 at the corner of Ash and Horton streets.
Tyler Bryant, 22, was charged with operating while license suspended, violating conditions of release and a probation hold at 8:35 p.m. on Nov. 3 on Main Street.
Lawrence Kilkenny, 39, was charged with operating after suspension on Nov. 4 at 11:37 p.m. at the corner of Walnut and Howard streets.
