AUBURN — Roland Loyd Westleigh, 80, of Auburn, died on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at the Hospice House in Auburn.

He was born on Feb. 26, 1930, the son of Frances and Stella Westleigh. He worked as a textile worker and for Falcon Shoe.

He enjoyed fishing, playing chess, darts, and especially spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeannine; his daughters, Sally Westleigh of Mechanic Falls, and Gail Westleigh of Lewiston; sons, John and his wife, Gail, of Washington, Alvin and his wife, Cindy, of Virginia, Dennis and his wife, Crystal, of Oxford, and James of Virginia; sisters, Georgette Brooks and Charlotte Dupre; brother, Milford Westleigh; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; his sisters, Margaret, Arlean and Florence; and his brothers, Albert, Arthur, Sherland and Kenny.
