Worship service

SOUTH PARIS — Silver Moore-Leamon will lead the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, Nov. 21, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. Her sermon topic will be, “Is Playing Football Really a Sin?”

Forest Perkins, organist, and the choir will lead the music and Renee Wales will direct the Sunday School. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. All are welcome.

Chinese auction

SOUTH PARIS — A Holiday Chinese Auction will take place on Sunday, Nov. 28, at the Legion Hall on Church Street. Doors will open for viewing at 11 a.m. and the auction will begin at 1 p.m. A lunch counter will be open.

Breakfast buffet

BETHEL — The Rotary Club of Bethel will offer an all-you-can-eat buffet from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Ordway Dining Hall, Gould Academy, Church Street.

Tickets are $7 in advance from club members or at the Inn of Rostay, River View Resort or Mt. Mann Jewelers. Tickets at the door will be $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 or younger. Proceeds benefit the club’s community projects and scholarships.
