Dec. 3-12, Monmouth: The Monmouth Community Players will present The Butterfingers Angel, Mary & Joseph, Herod the Nut, & the Slaughter of 12 Hit Carols in a Pear Tree at the Cumston Hall Theater. The play is a humorous retelling of the nativity. Please be aware that there are some adult topics and language. Friday and Saturdays 7:30 p.m., Sundays 2 p.m.
Dec. 11, Farmington: Christmas Fair, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Fairbanks Union Church, features holiday crafts, food and candies, jewelry, wreaths, plants, and stuffed animals.
Dec. 11-12, Lewiston: Heritage Christmas Concert, Franco-American Heritage Center, is a collaboration of the Androscoggin Chorale and the Edward Little High School Chamber Choir. The concert will conclude with the audience joining in on favorite Christmas carols in a singalong with the Chamber Choir and the Chorale. Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 12 at 3 p.m.
Dec. 11-12, Augusta: Augusta Armory Christmas Craft Show featuring the finest variety of crafts from throughout New England, 179 Western Ave. 2 day show featuring 50+ artisans and craftsmen; jewelry, photography, fine art, quilting, baskets, gift baskets, herbs, soaps and personal care items, finished and unfinished wood, clothing and toys, fashion accessories, pottery, gourmet fudge, jams and jellies, and much more.
Dec. 12, Norway: The Second Congregational Church will present CHRISTMASTIDE concert, 3 p.m. The event will feature the Vocal Choir and English Hand Bells, a live nativity, and a reception of homemade goodies following the performance. Free and open to the public. Bring your family, neighbors, and friends to join in this wonderful holiday celebration. Snow date: Dec. 19.
Dec. 18, Paris: The Paris Public Library’s annual Children’s Holiday Fest, 1-3 p.m. All children in the community are invited to stop in the library to enjoy various festive crafts, games, carols, and cookie decorating.
