Police are still searching for a Greene man wanted for his role in a Nov. 14 assault at an early-morning party in Bowdoin.
Jasheen Ameer Moody, 29, whose last known address was 75 Merrill Hill Road in Greene, has eluded police since the assault. Warrants for his arrest are out in Bowdoin for elevated aggravated assault related to that incident, as well as in the Lewiston area for failure to appear on burglary charges.
Police responded to reports of an assault in progress at 1020 Main St. in Bowdoin at about 4 a.m. on Nov. 14. Two victims, Max and Wade Welner, were hospitalized with head and facial injuries. A third victim, Jason McKim, refused treatment and medical transportation.
Shane Pontoo, 23, of Lewiston was arrested that day for his role in the incident. Gregory Pontoo, 26, also of Lewiston, was arrested Nov. 20. Police also charged Justin Trufant, 26, of 1020 Main St. in Bowdoin with furnishing a place for minors to drink alcohol.
Police encourage anyone with information about Moody’s location to contact the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department at 443-9711 and ask for the detective division.
