RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for James J. Buccina was celebrated Monday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev, Philip Tracy was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria,” “On Eagles Wings” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” Readings were done by his grandchildren Molly Marr and Edward James Rogers. The eulogy was given by his son-in-law, Tim Marr. Pallbearers were Tim Marr, Molly Marr, Charlie Marr, EJ Rogers, Ben Rogers, Greg Buccina and Mark Prevost. Spring interment will be in Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. A reception followed at 49 Franklin St. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
