MEXICO — The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department.

Vandalism

Lazarou Motors’ owner Paul Ross reported at 1:30 p.m., Dec. 2, that someone had broken a window in the garage, causing about $250 damage.

Accidents

Vehicles driven by Anthony Gallant, 22, of Canton Point Road, Canton, and William Debery, 55, of Phippsburg, collided at 8:58 a.m., Dec. 2, on the River Road, causing Debery’s vehicle to come to rest on its roof. A utility pole was severed in the accident. Gallant’s 1994 Jeep sports utility vehicle sustained $3,500 damage. Debery’s 2008 Ford pickup truck sustained $2,500 damage.

Vehicles driven by Sharon Smith, 59, of Carthage Road, Carthage, and Ralph Cameron, 49, of Eaton Hill Road, Rumford, collided at 3:15 p.m., Nov. 29, on Main Street. Smith’s 2000 Ford pickup truck sustained $4,000 damage. Cameron’s 2004 Chevrolet sedan also sustained $4,000 damage.

A vehicle driven by Christine A. Clark, 58, of Auburn Road, Peru, collided with a deer at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 2, on Highland Terrace. Her 1997 Saturn sedan sustained $1,500 damage. The deer was injured and had to be put down.
