Each December, St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center gives away Christmas stockings to every baby born at the Family Birthing Center. They couldn’t do it without the help of GiseleGagnon, standing, left, a hospital volunteer. Starting in October, Gagnon begins to cut and sew some 60 stockings. It takes her about 90 minutes to make each stocking. She says it’s a labor of love and looks forward to doing it each year. Dustin and Amy Ray watch their daughter, Macie, snuggling in her new stocking.
