Rumford patrol officers responded to 70 complaints between midnight Dec. 6 and midnight Dec. 13. Traffic stops are not included in these complaints.

Arrests/summonses

Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. — Bert Holmquist, 28, of Peru was arrested by acting Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on a warrant for burglary, assault, criminal mischief and violation conditions of release. Holmquist was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.

Dec. 8 at 9:25 a.m. — Michael Sargent, 42, of Rumford was arrested by Capt. Daniel Garbarini on a charge of violation conditions of release on Oxford Avenue. Sargent was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

 Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. — Joseph Downs, 33, of Rumford was arrested by Capt. Daniel Garbarini for violation conditions of release on Main Street, Dixfield. Downs was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

 Dec. 8 at 2:40 p.m. — Timothy Labrecque, 21, of Rumford was given a summons by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of violation conditions of release on Portland Street. Labrecque is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

 Dec. 8 at 4:45 p.m. — Crystal Buotte, 24, of Rumford was charged by acting Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on a charge of illegal possession of drug paraphernalia and useable amount of marijuana on Spruce Street. Buotte is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

 Dec. 11 at 4:30 p.m. — Alex Mackerron, 22, of Rumford was given a summons by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of violation conditions of release on Cumberland Street. Mackerron is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

 Dec. 12 at 5:45 p.m. — Shannon Dolan, 28, of Rumford was given a summons by acting Cpl. Lawrence Winson on charges of leaving the scene and failure to report a crash on Prospect Avenue. Mackerron is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 8.

Criminal mischief

 Dec. 10 at 6:44 a.m. — Acting Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating an incident of an excavator window being damaged on Route 108. Estimated damage $700.

 Theft

Dec. 9 at 6:33 p.m. — Patrolman Ian Theriault is investigating a theft of food from a local restaurant on Congress Street. Loss estimated at $21.

Wanted

Jennifer (Fligg) Hurlbert, 32 , of Albany Township is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant on a charge of operating after suspension. The warrant is dated Oct. 29, 2010.
