LEWISTON — Andre Guy Theberge, 85, of Lewiston, passed away on Dec. 13.
He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Feb. 21, 1925, the son of Francois and Juliette Verville Theberge. He later became a U.S. citizen and served in the army during World War II. He married Stella Baron on Nov. 5, 1949. He was employed as a mailman in Lewiston for 30 years. Guy was an avid golfer and was a member of Fairlawn Country Club and later Martindale. He also was a member of the Elks Lodge 371.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Louise and Judith Theberge of Lewiston; his sister-in-law, Phyllis Theberge of Lewiston, and sister-in-law, Frances Greeley and her husband, Robert, of Sydney; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife; sister, Constance Cloutier; and brother, Gerald.
