FARMINGTON — A man wielding a baseball bat with a chain attached robbed the Big Apple store Tuesday night of an undisclosed amount of money, police Deputy Chief Shane Cote said.
The robbery occurred at about 5:45 p.m. at the store at 190 Farmington Falls Road. The white male was armed with a baseball bat with a chain on one end, he said. The thief was wearing a purple jacket with a bandanna over his face. He fled toward town with an undisclosed amount of money.
