YUCCA, Ariz. — Merle Alfred Tyler Jr., 61, of Auburn, died Dec. 7, in Arizona.

He was born in Stoneham, Mass., Feb. 20, 1949, the son of Merle Alfred Tyler Sr. and Marion Tyler Vincent.

He was a member of the Auburn Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed golf and playing with his grandchildren. He was a truck driver for more than 35 years.

He is survived by wife, Betty Tyler; children, Daniel Tyler, Susan LeBlond, Lynnette Tyler and Amy Tyler; grandchildren, Felicia Howard, Becky Picard, Kyle Howard, Brei Cote, Lily LeBlond, Morgan Tyler and Adan Tyler; both parents; siblings, Lynnette Harriman, Lynda Araujo, Mark Tyler, Russell Tyler, Daniel Tyler and Richard Tyler; and numerous aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews.
