Recently, I was in Auburn, stopped at a traffic light in front of the courthouse. As I waited for the light to change, I noticed a bumper sticker on a pickup truck parked on the side of the street. The sticker was black and in bold white letters it read: “I (‘f’ word spelled out) on the first date.”
I could not believe what I was seeing.
I stopped at the Auburn Police Department and inquired as to what could be done. I was told “nothing,” as it came under the umbrella of “free speech.”
What kind of a society have we created?
Perhaps if I got a look at the driver I could better understand the bumper sticker.
