Lily Gagnon of Lewiston crochets a “head hugger” during the Winter Farmers Market at St. Mary’s Nutrition Center on Thursday evening. Gagnon sells the hats for $5 and uses the money to buy more yarn so she can knit caps for cancer patients at the hospitals. “I started making them when my husband was dying from cancer going on two years ago and never stopped,” she said.
