LEWISTON — Claude and Claudeen Bergeron of Lewiston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Irene Bergeron of New York City, to Jonathan David Marlow, also of New York City. Jonathan is the son of Judith G. Marlow of New York.

Ms. Bergeron graduated from Emerson College in Boston in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is also a 2004 graduate of Lewiston High School. She is employed at Harper Collins Publishers in New York, where she is an assistant editor.

Mr. Marlow graduated from Emerson College in Boston, also in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in film. He is also a 2004 graduate of Trevor Day School in New York City. He is employed at Postworks N.Y., where he is an in-house producer.

The wedding will be held at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester in August.
