DEAR SUN SPOTS: I appreciate all I’ve learned from your column over the years, very helpful. My request is if anyone has an Upwards game by Milton Bradley. I am looking for the large size. The small one is 9 inches on its face, but it is the next size board — maybe 10 inches — that I want. I’d be willing to pay a reasonable price.

Does anyone have a recipe for a pork stew? There are plenty of recipes for beef, but I’m curious about ones for pork. I’m thinking previously cooked roast pieces with the liquid plus whatever.

As to the cabbage, according to online sources you should cut your cabbage with a stainless steel knife rather than carbon steel, which is what leads to the black edges you noted. The sites also recommend storing cabbage uncut (wrapped tightly in plastic wrap) and using it as rapidly as possibly after cutting.
