RUMFORD — Two local men and a 17-year-old were arrested Sunday afternoon on charges that they broke into Oxford Lanes bowling alley on Saturday night and stole $184 in cash.

Rumford police officer Joseph Sage said Zachery Giberson, 20, of Lochness Street and Charles Gannon Jr., 18, of Knox Street were each charged with burglary and theft. Gannon was also charged with violation of bail conditions in connection with a series of thefts and burglaries in Mexico.

The two were taken to the Oxford County Jail in Paris and are scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Paris on March 8.

A 17-year-old was released to the custody of his parents.

Sage said the three are accused of entering the Route 2 bowling alley through a window and taking $184 in cash Saturday night. The break-in was reported Sunday morning.
