LEWISTON — Northeast Bank recently donated $500 to the Good Shepherd Food-Bank.

The donation will help provide nearly 2,000 meals to the needy. The Good Shepherd Food-Bank works with a network of more than 600 partner agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens and after-school programs to feed more than 36,000 Mainers each week.

Good Shepherd Food-Bank is Maine’s primary and largest food bank.

Northeast Bank is headquartered in Lewiston and has approximately $629 million in assets, operating 23 retail outlets.
