RENO, Nev. — Donna Lee Whaley, 66, of Loyalton, Calif., died Feb. 11, at Renown Hospital.
She was born in Lewiston, April 5, 1944, the daughter of Charles Whaley and Betty Lou (Cloutier) Whaley.
Donna Lee was educated in Auburn schools. She graduated from the original Edward Little High School in 1963. She was a majorette in the marching band and a member of the Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority. She was a beautiful, vibrant woman who turned heads when she entered a room. She loved to dance and would always jitter-bug with her mother at family gatherings.
She will be remembered for the love and loyalty she gave to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Kristine Nelson, Kimberli Young, and Ryan and Shawn Nelson; six grandchildren, Morgan, Sean, Christopher, Reilly, Max and Maura; siblings, Catherine, Darren and William Whaley, Elizabeth Washington and Laura Boucher; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father; and mother.
