BRIDGTON — With so many families struggling due to the pandemic, the members of Gallery 302 decided to give some help to the Bridgton Food Pantry. Artist Ruth Boisvert donated a felted figure of the iconic “Bernie with Mittens” meme, to be raffled. Proceeds were shared between the food pantry and the gallery’s computer fund. The February raffle was a success, and each organization received $250. Kate Krukowski Gooding also donated 125 of her cookbooks for the 125 families coming to food pantry.

The Bridgton Food Pantry, located in the former United Methodist Church at 214 Main Street in Bridgton, is open to anyone in need every Tuesday from 11am-6pm. Gallery 302 is an artists’ cooperative that manages the daily functions and expenses related to running a year-round Gallery for over 40 artists, located at 112 Main Street in Bridgton, across from the library.
