OTISFIELD — The Town Office was closed Thursday after employees were exposed to a person who came in and later tested positive for COVID-19.

The closure was announced in an email Wednesday evening. The Town Office on Route 121 will reopen Monday, March 29.

Since last April, only one person at a time and wearing a face covering has been allowed to enter the building.

Board of Selectmen Chairman Hall Ferguson said anyone who needs to conduct town business must wait until the office reopens.

A public hearing and Planning Board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. March 23 at the Otisfield Community Hall on Route 121.

A Finance Committee meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 25 will be rescheduled.
