AUBURN — Lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the United States, affecting more than 400,000 Americans. It is a preventable and treatable if diagnosed early. St. Mary’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation will hold free lung function screenings from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, March 15, at the St. Mary’s Medical Office Building, 15 Gracelawn Road.

The screening will take about 20 minutes. Also discussed will be results, risk factors and ways to improve lung function. Appointments are encouraged; walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 753-3259 to reserve a spot.
