LIVERMORE FALLS — The high school Jobs for Maine’s Graduates program will host the Harlem Superstar Basketball performance Thursday, March 17, at Livermore Falls High School.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.
Tickets will be $6 in advance and $7 at the door. Tickets in advance will be sold at the Livermore Elementary School and the Livermore Falls middle and high schools.
It will be the Harlem Superstar vs. the Faculty Dream Team, which consists of volunteered staff from the district.
It is expected to be a fun evening including autographs, slam dunks, a halftime show, tricks, dancing, music and more.
Board to meet Tuesday
LIVERMORE — Selectpersons rescheduled their board meeting to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the town office.
Proposed ordinance to be discussed
LIVERMORE FALLS — The Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at the town office to discuss a proposed ordinance to protect Moose Hill Pond, a drinking water source.
Also on the agenda is Planning Board meeting date discussion, Livermore Falls rental housing code update; Fire Department Knox-box discussion, and selectmen discussion.
Congressman’s staff to be available
NEW SHARON — Congressman Mike Michaud’s staff will hold hours from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at the town office.
Matt Dubois, a constituent representative from Michaud’s Lewiston office, will be available to discuss any issues residents are facing with federal agencies and to discuss services available through his office.

Joint meeting rescheduled
LIVERMORE FALLS — A joint meeting between selectmen and Budget Committee has been rescheduled to 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, at the town office.
