LISBON FALLS — The family is sad to announce the passing of Josephine Longway Bulick, 91, of Lisbon Falls, who died March 2, at her home in the loving presence of her family. Josephine was born in Freeport the daughter of David and Josephine Longway. She was educated at Freeport schools. She worked at Freeport Shoe for many years. She was proud to be a welder at Bath Iron Works during World War II. She later worked at Worumbo Mills as a spinner. Josephine married her soulmate, Norman in Yarmouth on Dec. 24, 1939. Together, during 67 years of a devoted marriage, they successfully built and ran Norman M. Bulick Construction. The business is now operated by grandson, Dan Bulick.

Josephine is survived by her daughter, Madelyn Bulick; Barbara’s husband, Gene Brown; five grandchildren, Tammy Bosse of New Gloucester, Jamie Brown of Topsham, Nadine Gendron of Lisbon Falls, Dan Bulick and wife, Erica, of Lisbon Falls and Vicky Brown of Hartford; nine great-grandchildren, Lisa Bosse of Lisbon Falls, Adeena Levesque and husband, Andrew, of Lisbon Falls, Daniel Bulick and wife, Krista, of Lisbon Falls, Chelsey St. Amour of Topsham, Deja Brown of Lewiston, Gage Bulick of Falmouth, Dylan St. Amour of Topsham, Madison Gendron of Lisbon Falls and Shane St. Pierre of Hartford; two great-great-grandchildren, Ella Jo Bulick and Gavin Wyatt Levesque; her sister, Madelyn Lincoln of Waterboro; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and her husband of 67 years, Norman; she was predeceased by her oldest daughter, Barbara Bulick Brown, and seven brothers and sisters.

Josephine was devoted to family and spent many happy weekends with her grandchildren at the family summer home on Tacoma Lake. However, her love and generosity extended to many other “children and grandchildren” who also called her “Gram” throughout their lives.
