Calvin Bowie II

AUBURN — Gary and Cathy Simard of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Allison Simard of Auburn, to Calvin Bowie II of Auburn, son of Calvin and Carlene Bowie of Frenchville.

Miss Simard is a 2000 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. She is currently enrolled at New England College, where she is pursuing her master’s degree in literacy. She is a second grade teacher in Auburn.

Mr. Bowie is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and graduated in 2000 from Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is currently employed at Morrison and Sylvester in Auburn.

A July wedding is planned.
