Lacey Rae (Kuvaja) Pratt
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Lacey Rae (Kuvaja) Pratt, 25, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. passed away at Grand Strand Hospital on May 29, 2021 with family by her side after a tragic car accident. She was born June 9,1995, in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of William and Rebecca Kuvaja. She attended Oxford Hills High School graduating in 2014. June 4 ,2018, she married David Pratt. She loved her family, especially her son, Dalton, and her niece, Olivia, who was “aunties girl”. She loved family traditions and Holidays and loved taking pictures and would spend hours editing and making collages of her family. She has a compassion for all animals often bringing home strays wanting to save them all. After being introduced to horseback riding by her Grammy Young she developed a passion for horses and competed competitively in dressage for several years. She loved tattoos with each one telling a story and meaning, and she loved to tell people about them. She had a very stubborn, competitive soul and loved to win.Lacey is survived by her husband David Pratt of Myrtle Beach, her son, Dalton Pratt and parents William and Rebecca Kuvaja of Conway, S.C., sister, Mackenzie Kuvaja and her partner Nathan Hewett and “aunties girl”, Olivia Hewett of Little River, S.C., brother, Keegan Kuvaja of Norway, Maine, grandfather James Young and a special uncle Joe Young of Buckfield, Maine, grandparents Robert and Brenda Richardson of Norway, Maine, Nana Rachel Kuvaja of Lovell, Maine, many uncles aunts and cousins, and a friend Tripp Bishop of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother Dorothy Young and her grandfather William Kuvaja Sr.
