LEWISTON — Award-winning contemporary folk singer-songwriter Carolyn Currie will perform Friday, March 18, at The DownStage at L/A Arts.

Currie has performed throughout the United States, playing at the Pacific Northwest’s Bumbershoot and Folklife Festival, California’s High Sierra Music Festival and Napa Valley Folk Festival, Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Rocky Mountain Folk Festival, New York’s Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas.

Doors will open at 7 o’clock. for a 7:30 p.m. concert that will last about an hour and a half. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.

The DownStage at L/A Arts, an intimate, 50-seat black box performance space, is at 5 Canal Street Alley, just off the first block of Pine Street in the downtown. Parking is free in the Camden National Bank Parking Lot on Canal Street.
