Jeanine Newcomb

AUBURN – Jeanine Newcomb of Auburn passed peacefully in her home Saturday, May 29, 2021. Jeanine was born March 22, 1935 in her home province of St. George De Beauce Canada.

She moved to Auburn during childhood, attending school, and entering the workforce. Jeanine worked as a carpenter all her life, she also waitressed, but made way into owning and operating a food concession stand within the carnivals, where met the love of her life Edward Newcomb. They married, and had 25 wonderful years together.

Many who knew her as “Ninnin” adored Jeanine. She had a strong passion for golf, and winters in Flagler Beach, Fla.

Her husband Edward predeceases Jeanine. She is survived by three daughters, Joanne Labrie of Auburn, Louise Labrie of Auburn and Janet Labrie of Lisbon; two granddaughters, Reanne Johnson of Minot and Leah Punch of Auburn; and two great-grandchildren who were her world, Ryken and Teagan Johnson.
