NORWAY — Sidney J. Greenblatt, 68, of Norway passed away Sunday, March 13, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

He was born June 22, 1942, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Benjamin and Lillian Greenblatt. During his childhood, he spent many summers at Rockaway Beach in New York. He graduated from Brooklyn Tech High School then went on to earn an associates degree in electronics at the RCA Institute. He worked for many years as a Systems Analyst.

Sidney was a friendly person who enjoyed writing, theater, reading, crossword puzzles, chess, Scrabble and computers. He wrote book reviews and worked on current resident’s newsletters.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anita; and two stepchildren, Raymond Mercier and Scott Mercier.
