I am one of the many fortunate people to have run for Dan Campbell, and the things that made him a great coach would make him a phenomenal leader for House District 90. As a coach, he cared equally about every member of the team, no matter if they were a state champion or the […]

Holly Cooney: Ammo giveaway shouldn’t still be on website
Frankly, I am appalled. As we approach the one-year mark of Lewiston’s horrific mass shooting, Rep. Laurel Libby still has her ammo giveaway from last year on her website. Crass, politically self-serving and tasteless in the extreme. But more important — it is heartbreakingly thoughtless and disrespectful to the victims, families, friends and community impacted […]
Jamie Anderson: Rep. Libby works hard for Maine’s people
How did the state get so far off track? When will enough be enough? We are facing a tipping point. As a landowner, I am shocked at the latest increase in property taxes that I am paying, and I know others are, too. In my opinion, the state is in crisis. Rep. Laurel Libby is […]
Susan Staples: Nutt aims to improve access to resources in rural Maine
I am supporting Charlotte Nutt to represent Oxford County House District 79 and the towns of Paris, West Paris, Sumner and Woodstock. She has chosen to run as an independent with the hope of helping to bridge the divide between people of different party affiliations. I met Charlotte when she visited our neighborhood in Bryant […]
Amanda Burgess: Campbell ‘the right choice for House District 90’
I had the good fortune of being coached by Dan Campbell during my time on the track and field team at Edward Little High School. During countless hours of training, pep talks, and competing, I witnessed firsthand Coach Campbell’s unwavering commitment to his athletes. Since those days on the track, I’ve been continually impressed by, […]
Rep. Caleb Ness: Martin aims to make Maine finances efficient, beneficial
Again, election season is upon us. In 2022 I was elected to represent House District 82 in the Legislature. I was able to serve with great legislators such as Sen. Lisa Keim. Because she is term limited, we have another great candidate. Enter Joseph Martin — a man who I have seen work hard to […]
Wendy Dodge: Rep. Libby ‘has Mainers in her heart’
I am writing to support Laurel Libby’s candidacy for state representative. I am a senior citizen, with concerns about the direction that our state is headed with regard to spending. Laurel has excelled as our current representative, to listen to concerns and to inform us of the issues and decisions that are being made in […]
Spencer Traylor: McCabe offers perspective, compassion as Lewiston representative
Julie McCabe is the right person to represent Lewiston in the State House. I had the privilege to work with Julie as a teacher at Next Step — an innovative school program for a new generation of learners. As an educator, Julie brings classes out into the real world and the real world into the […]
Beth Crafts Bell: Rep. Libby works to uphold Constitution
I’m a Maine native, and a resident of Auburn for over 25 years. I’m thankful for Rep. Laurel Libby. She is an efficient and effective representative for her district, and for the people of Maine. She keeps her constituents updated. When something is coming up for a vote, she makes complete information about the bill […]
