Staff Photographer
Libby Kamrowski Kenny is a staff photographer at the Sun Journal who came aboard in June 2025. She’s been in journalism longer than that though, as her prematurely graying hair can attest, starting as a grant-funded photo intern at The Spokesman-Review prior to graduation from Gonzaga University in 2018. (She’ll root for Zag basketball for life!) She was editor at both her college and high school newspapers in her home state of Washington. Libby has now spent half of her life pursuing a career in journalism, and took a four-year layover from print journalism and coastal states to live and work as a producer in Omaha, Nebraska. She is delighted to be reunited with ocean air and newspaper ink.
