    New community ice rink in Bethel opens to skaters across the region

    The rink, which opened Dec. 20, has six to seven inches of ice and will stay open every day during daylight hours as long as weather permits, and the ice stays frozen and is safe to skate on.

    Greenwood selectmen discuss broadband, lodging tax, and infrastructure

    The board also continued its waste plan discussions, with Bethel set to put forth a proposal the first week in January. Discussions will continue whether to consider one waste plant or two plants to manage the needs of Greenwood, Newry, Bethel and two other towns.

    Bethel board to research high cost of marijuana dispensary fees

    When discussing why the fee was priced so high, both Everett and selectmen agreed it was because at the time the price was set Maine allowed only eight dispensaries in the state. Now, however, the state can have an unlimited amount of dispensaries so the price of the fees can be lowered as they are not in such high demand.

It’s the testimonies that people share that can never be debated or taken away because we’ve experienced. That’s what the relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is — it’s experience. It’s where we’re witnesses to what he’s done. And not only in our own lives, but in the lives of people around us, and that can’t be debated. It can’t be taken away. Because it’s our experience.”
