AUGUSTA — Committal services were held Monday at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for David Tapley. Deacon Dean Lachance officiated and military honors were provided by the Marine Corps. The urn ark bearers were Alan, Sarah Cole and Chase Tapley. Services were by the Fortin Group Funeral Homes of Lewiston-Auburn.

NEW VINEYARD — Funeral services for Millard S. Parlin Jr. “Sonny,” of New Vineyard, were held Saturday from Old South Congregational Church with the Rev. Marcia Charles and the Rev. Lynda Giard co-officiating. Darlene Mooar, soloist, sang “Amazing Grace,” accompanied by Patricia Hayden, organist. Congregation hymns included “In The Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” […]
