RUMFORD – A statement on the positive impact of a new ski lodge in Rumford should have been attributed to Board of Selectmen Chairman Jim Thibodeau. It was incorrect on Page B1 in a pullout quotation in Wednesday’s River Valley edition.

Wrong surname

CORallen0626 Wrong surname WILTON – Wilton Planning Board member Bernal Allen resigned his post this week, citing health reasons. His last name was incorrect on Wednesday’s B3 of the Franklin edition.

One, not two

LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen have agreed to add one more police officer to the 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. shift on Thursdays. This officer will join a second currently on nights. A pull-out quote on Wednesday’s B1 of the Franklin edition incorrectly noted there were to be two extra officers.

Clarification

AUBURN – Stephen Corro, 47, of Lisbon was listed in a May 17 District Court log charged with operating under the influence. The information related to a 1999 charge that was recently provided to the newspaper by the court.

LEWISTON – John Quirk should have been credited with the statement: “We want to form a long-term relationship built on trust and integrity. You need personnel to do that.” A featured quote on Friday’s B8 incorrectly attributed the statement.
