Name misspelled

AUBURN – Spanish student Sucheta Desai was recently honored at the Edward Little High School Evening of Excellence for outstanding performance on the national Spanish exam. Her surname was misspelled in a photo caption on Thursday’s B3 of the City edition.

Wrong war

FARMINGTON – Marion Hutchinson and other members of the Mount Blue Area Garden Club planted marigolds at the World War I Memorial Arch recently. A photo on Wednesday’s B3 of the Franklin edition identified the wrong war.

WEST PARIS – Tom Spear will serve as interim fire chief until a new one is elected, replacing Walter Inman, who resigned recently. Spear’s surname was misspelled on Monday’s B1 of the Oxford Hills edition.
