RUMFORD – A story on B1 of the River Valley edition on Tuesday provided an incorrect first name. The man who spoke at the town meeting was Willard Shurtleff. It was a reporting error.

JAY – Two scholarships have been given in the memory of Brandi Jerry, who died in a car accident 10 years ago. The Brandi Jerry Scholarship ends this year. Misstated position
A story on B1 in Wednesday’s Franklin edition misstated the position taken by the Natural Resources Council of Maine on the wind power plant proposed for Redington and Black Nubble mountains. The council has not taken a position on that project.
Manslaughter decision
A headline in Thursday’s Sun Journal on A1 should have stated that the jury in Sarah Allen’s trial must decide whether she committed manslaughter.
