Sarah Jenna of Laconia, N.H., wades out into the waves Saturday during Caring Unlimited’s 20th annual Atlantic Plunge. Caring Unlimited, a domestic violence resource center for York County, offers support services and safety services to anyone affected by domestic violence. Diana Onacki of Scarborough leads a group of participants into the water during Caring Unlimited holds the 20th annual Atlantic Plunge on Saturday. This year, due to the pandemic, in-person participants were limited to 40 people, so that with their support person (each plunger was allowed one support person), staff members and safety personnel, the event would stay under 100 people. Other, virtual participants, who plunged in other locations, or at home, were encouraged to send in photos and have a change to win prizes.
