Domestic violence survivors hold Valentine’s Day March

Finding Our Voices painted Lewiston yellow with messages about what is and is not love.

Officers were elected at the group’s annual Christmas Party at the Village Inn restaurant.

Drop off any donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.

More than 10,000 students and teachers across Maine participated.

The grants will help with the restoration of historic community buildings owned by governmental and non-profit organizations.

Feb. 15 is the main event, with timed racers grouped together in heats of two-four racers racing together down the course.

A Bangor student is the grand prize winner; local county winners reside in Turner, New Sharon, West Gardiner, Bethel and Pittsfield.

Members recently presented new dictionaries to third graders at the Cascade Brooke School.

Oxford Hills Christian Academy in Oxford has postponed its annual Comedy Night Dinner from this Saturday to March 1, due to the expected snowstorm.

Honor roll students for the second quarter of the 2024-25 school year were named.
