Meet the Maine wrestlers who qualified for the New England Championships

Mt. Blue was declared the champion on Tuesday, but a review of eligibility rules triggered a change in the final results.

Boys and girls competed in basketball quarterfinals in Augusta and Portland.

Brooklynn Webber and Kaydn Hansen nab individual titles for the Cougars, and Noble’s Hannah Perro becomes the state’s first four-time girls champion.

The Cougars add another championship in a hugely successful season.

Brady Ouellette becomes the program’s first four-time state champion, and the Knights win their 16th state crown.

Three grapplers earn individual titles for the Red Eddies, while the Mustangs win their second consecutive Class B North crown.

The Knights advance 13 wrestlers to next week’s state meet, including five champions and five second-place finishers.
